Bath and Body Works Fall Candle Picks

My Bath and Body Works Fall Candle Picks

I’m sure you’ve heard it all before; Bath and Body Works candles are the BEST.  I actually feel that for once in my life I was early to the party when it came to these candles. My mum has been buying Bath and Body Works candles for our home for years and I’ve had the Pure White Cotton candles in my room for as long as I can remember. However, last year I picked up the Bath and Body Works Winter candle around Christmas time. It smelled exactly like Christmas in a candle and really got me hooked on their seasonal scents.

Recently, my boyfriend and I stopped by Bath and Body Works to pick up some fall candles. I’m so happy with the ones that we chose and so I thought I’d share them here. . It’s probably worth mentioning before I begin that I hate sweet scented candles. The whole ‘Pumpkin Marshmallow Cookie’ life is absolutely not for me. So, if you’re looking for some sweet-smelling recommendations this probably isn’t the post for you. However, if you’re looking for something that will make your house smell perfectly like fall, you’ve come to the right place.

Leaves

Leaves is my number one Bath and Body Works fall candle pick. If I could burn this all day, every day until December 1st (at which time I would start burning Winter), I would. This candle literally smells like fall in a jar, to me at least. It has a slight sweet scent but not so much that it gives me a headache. The Bath and Body works website describes this scent as “Crisp Red Apple, Golden Nectar, Warm Clove Spice”. To me, it’s a fresh scent with spice/cinnamon and a hint of sweet. This is exactly what I was looking for in a fall candle and I know I’ll be buying this candle year after year.

Crisp Morning Air

Second in my Bath and Body Works fall candle picks is Crisp Morning Air. Crisp Morning Air is very similar to my all time favourite Bath and Body works candle, Pure White Cotton in that they are both very fresh scents. However, I would say that Crisp Morning Air is a much deeper scent than Pure White cotton which is very light. The Bath and Body Works website describes Crisp Morning Air as ‘An invigorating blend of pine, juniper & a hint of pear’. I don’t think that this candle necessarily smells like the air on a crisp morning, in fact it smells more like a clean man in the crisp morning air but none the less, definitely something I want my apartment to smell like. I like this candle as a fall scent because it is very fall appropriate but it’s not too much – i.e. it doesn’t leave your house smelling like a sweet pumpkin cinnamon marshmallow. I wouldn’t say that this candle is a fall scent only, you can definitely get away with this in the winter too, but I know that I’ll be swapping this out for Pure White Cotton in the summer months.

Stress Relief – Eucalyptus and Mint

My final Bath and Body Works fall candle pick is the Stress Relief – Eucalyptus and Spearmint candle from the Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Range. I don’t think I need to go into too much detail about the scent of this candle as really the name speaks for itself.  I will be honest and tell you that I have purchased this candle once before, but the fact that this is a repurchase speaks volumes in itself. I’m not a particularly stressed person, but we got this for my boyfriend who definitely is and he really loves it. I can’t tell you that this works for certain but I do think it has some effect (even if only a placebo). Whether it works or not, I don’t mind because it leaves my apartment smelling like a spa.
